Personalized Wedding Favors
After all the time, money and effort that go into a wedding day, no-one wants that memory to just blend in with other weddings the guests have attended. It is surprising how the memory works and even little details like the bride and grooms name plus the place and date they were married can bring the whole day back to the person who was given the personalized wedding favor.

Planning is the key issue here as unlike regular wedding favors, which can almost be left until the last minute to purchase, these require a little more effort and orders should be placed early. If you are fortunate it may be possible to order your wedding favors from a current stick item that will not have to manufactured to order but nevertheless, they will still need to be personalized and you may not be the only person in the queue. When this happens you can have your wedding favors delivered within a few days to what could be many weeks so you have to ask yourself if is worth the worry of not knowing if they will be delivered on time.
Rush orders are usually an option but they also usually involve high fees and in fact you will likely find that a rush order may double or even triple the cost of each favor. Your budget will determine just how much information you will be able to place on each wedding favor and obviously it is nice to place more that just the names of the couple plus the day they were married but the more that is printed, the greater the charge. Although names and details are the most usual pieces of information to have printed on your candy outers, pictures frames or coasters, other methods of personalization exist that can be just as effective.
Of course many people still prefer edible favors and although not as long lasting can still be effective; photo cookies are one particular example. Most modern bakeries can take a digital photo or even a can and print them onto the face of a cookie without too much trouble.
If you really want to finish the effect then why not have the bakery also print your names on the cookie as well as the photo. To be different, why not have the wedding favor wrapper personalized instead of the edible favor, as this way they have the best of both worlds or use some ribbon to wrap it with that has been personalized. Plain ribbons with the wedding details are very effective and can even be supplied so they are each cut to the exact length required which will save someone a great deal of time.

Edible Wedding Favors
If you are going as far as personalizing the wrapper, then why not have your picture printed on the wrapper to really impress your guests! Why not have a tin filled with different types of candy as your edible wedding favor to your guests. There is also typically the option of personalizing the tin by including the wedding date and the name of the bride and the groom. The guests may eat the candy soon after the wedding but they can keep the candy tin as a reminder of your wedding; they can use it to store other small items such as change, sewing needles, rubber bands or virtually anything which is small enough to be stored in them. Most people will tuck into an edible wedding favor even if they do not normally eat candy because the occasion makes them more susceptible.
People that cannot make up their minds how to present the candy should consider placing it decorative bowl in the center of the table. You can also leave a small presentation box with details of the wedding, and one that can even match the wedding theme if there is one. This way each guest can put whatever candies they like in the container and take it home when they leave the reception. A good alternative to candy as an edible wedding favor is cookies which most people enjoy. Undecorated cookies are best because they are supposed to go inside a decorated box which can have the wedding day details printed on it.
These days it is easy to insert images onto anything and a cookie isn't any more difficult than a wrapper. There are many bakeries that can make these cookies for you in a variety of sizes and shapes; you just simply need to select a design and give the bakery a photo to use in the design process. For something a little out of the ordinary why not try the unusual edible wedding favors of cocoa, coffee or tea. Tea, coffee and cocoa are very popular with many people and there a huge range to choose from these days so you would not have just stick with the most popular available. Putting the couple's names as well as the wedding date on the package is a good idea as well as including a picture of the couple. These are just a few gift ideas for your guests, I'm sure you can think of more if these do not interest you.

Weddings Abroad: Yes That Is My Dream Wedding
Weddings abroad is for you if you want to experience something different or are just tired of all that a standard old wedding is going to provide to you. The good news is that there are plenty of wonderful opportunities to pull together that perfect destination wedding. If you are looking for the wedding that is going to sing your praises and not the one that is traditional, then consider this option of having your wedding abroad. Here are some reasons why this may be the perfect wedding for your needs.
You just don’t want to spend a fortune. How does paying for a meal for 150 of your closest friends and family sound? Top it off with entertainment, clothing, cakes, the hall itself, the car to get you there, the church, and the flowers. It is really expensive to have a wedding today. On the other hand, you may not even really care what flowers will sit on the table tops just to end up in the trash in a week. The fact is that many people just can not see spending countless dollars on a wedding celebration that is not all that meaningful for them.
You are just not willing to be the center or attention to so many people. Not all of us want to be the focal point. On top of this, the pressures that go into pleasing each one of your guests just may get the best of you. This is your day, not theirs but it sure seems like you will be committing a lot of your time to pleasing them, doesn’t it?
Maybe you just do not like to wear a wedding gown. For some people, wearing that Victorian wedding gown with all the trimmings is simply not for them. If the idea of a traditional wedding does not please you, then why should you do it? Instead, finding the right location with only the right people may be the best way for you to relax and actually celebrate your day.
For some brides having a Caribbean beach wedding is a wonderful way to be yourself. If you are someone that just is not turned on by all that a traditional wedding can offer, then consider what a simple romantic weddings abroad can. If you select a traditional wedding, what will your day really be like? If you are one of those planning their weddings abroad, imagine what the possibilities can actually be on a sandy Caribbean island.
